We have received reports that Imran Khan was again taken to PIMS in the early hours of 15 June. We found out through a tweet by Barrister Gohar on the morning of 15 June.
We reject any medical report generated by PIMS regarding Imran Khan’s condition. The same institution has previously made questionable claims, including the assertion that Imran Khan had recovered 90% of his eyesight. Imran Khan himself rejected these claims when his lawyer later met him at Adiala Jail.
A fundamental question remains unanswered: Why does Imran Khan require a fifth injection?
We do not accept the government’s version of events. We demand that Imran Khan be examined and treated by independent, qualified specialists at Shifa International Hospital, Islamabad. This is an urgent and immediate priority.
A full bench court order permits six family members to meet Imran Khan every Tuesday. Yet over the past eight months, the authorities have largely violated this order. My sister, Dr. Uzma Khan, has only been allowed to meet him a few times, and her last meeting took place on 2 December, 2025.
We reject the government’s continued use of isolation and deprivation as tools of pressure against Imran Khan. Today, we expect all six family members to be allowed to meet him in accordance with the court’s order.
The denial of Imran Khan’s rights is not merely a political issue; it is a clear violation of both the jail manual and High Court orders.
According to the jail manual, Imran Khan is entitled to:
1. A weekly telephone call with his sons.
2. A weekly meeting with family members.
3. A weekly meeting with his legal counsel.
4. Access to books and reading material.
5. Access to television and newspapers.
6. Access to proper medical treatment and regular medical check-ups.
7. Notification to immediate family members before any medical procedure is carried out.
In addition, High Court full bench orders provide that:
1. Imran Khan must be allowed to speak with his sons by telephone.
2. Six family members and six lawyers may meet him every Tuesday.
3. Six friends, including party representatives, may meet him every Thursday.
We demand the immediate restoration of all of Imran Khan’s lawful rights as a prisoner, with access to independent and professional medical treatment in presence of family as the highest and most urgent priority.

Every Politician must support the freedom of Free Imran Khan,
or they do not support Democracy.
The preferred PM of Pakistan is suffering torturous solitary for reasons of political oppression according to the UN Working Group on Arbitrary Detention.
This is the only story that matters when it comes to Pakistan. 👇
For nearly 3 years former Prime Minister Imran Khan has been in a death cell, and from what the reports suggest, has gone blind in one eye due to torture at the hands of the current brutal military dictatorship in Pakistan. And for last 6 months especially he has been in total isolation facing psychological torture with no meetings with family.
This is how terrorists are treated in prison cells the way former Prime Minister, a Cricketing Hero, and someone who built cancer hospitals for the poorest in the country is being treated.
At the moment there is no proof of his life and has become a missing person by an illegitimate military regime. This unpopular regime is only able to maintain its grip on power through foreign endorsement and backing from Western liberal democracies, Arab Monarchies, and the US that find a compliant military dictator in Pakistan to be more useful than a stable and sovereign democracy.
The ultimate price of a dictatorship is paid by the 240 million people in the country.
Free Imran Khan!
What an absolute disgrace. A FIFA-certified referee being denied entry to the United States purely because he is Somali.
The World Cup is meant to bring people together. This is racism, plain and simple. Shameful.

They say that democracy doesn't work in Pakistan and that people don't care about it. Ok!
But have the repeated military dictatorships worked?
Gen Ayub and Gen Yahya lost half of the country.
Gen Zia and Gen Musharraf lost the half of that half.
This latest one is onto losing the whole.
Truth is, Pakistan has never had a democracy. It had either a direct military rule, or a military backed dynastical rule.
The people overwhelmingly believe in liberty and freedoms, even if they don't entirely understand the technical definition of democracy. It's only a small set of political, business, media, and intellectual elite that worships every new military dictator in hopes for extra crumbs.
Calling this "pragmatic politics" is one way of putting it. Majority would call it normalising a Form 47 dispensation that many Pakistanis believe subverted the public mandate. What is particularly disappointing is watching self-proclaimed progressives and public intellectuals, who built their reputations by warning against authoritarianism and defending democratic norms, suddenly discover the virtues of pragmatism when its beneficiaries happen to align with their preferences. If principles can be suspended so easily in the face of power then perhaps the intellectualism was never as principled as it claimed to be.

If a hostile agency was to take down another country, here is what the agenda items would look like:
1. Centralize power structures under 1 individual, preferably a military general.
2. Rig elections and install a small pack of extractive elite that serves only self interest.
3. Suppress politics, activism, and media.
4. Inflict substantial economic pain on the people so they either leave or give up.
5. Overdose people on lies and delusions of greatness and global relevance.
Once you are able to pull 1, which is the hardest part, rest 2,3,4 and 5 will follow organically.
The BBC make me physically feel sick.
BBC News is running a strapline: "Israel and Lebanon agree ceasefire if Hezbollah stops attacks".
Which is astoundingly dishonest framing.
What makes Imran Khan extraordinary is not his wins but his ability to win when winning feels impossible and all the hope is gone.
- Won the 1992 World Cup with a ragtag team that nobody, including the team itself, believed had any chance of winning. His sheer belief and will made it possible.
- Built a free cancer hospital for the poorest in society when everyone said it was a crazy idea and the model won’t work. Decades later it has expanded into other cities treating millions of cancer patients every year.
- Defied every critic and launched a political movement for justice that became Pakistan’s largest political party breaking the monopoly of two military backed political dynasties. He played clean in the dirt, and still won.
- Now at 73, in prison, fighting the final round for his people against monsters that don’t know the concept of sovereignty and freedom, and refuse to decolonize the country.
There is a clear pattern in his story. When there is no hope left and all the odds are stacked against him, that’s when he wins, and wins big!
By the end of it, this will be one of greatest story ever told.

Fear is what clings them to power. Lack of it is what still keeps him in prison.
He is worth the fight because his fight is worth it!

Pakistan is "whitewashing" its image on the world stage in its role as an intermediary in ceasefire negotiations between Iran and the United States, says son of Pakistan's former Prime Minister Imran Khan, Sulaiman.
Khan’s sons are seeking permission to visit their dad in Pakistan, following a Supreme Court disclosure that he has suffered significant vision loss in his right eye while in custody.
I tried to warn right-wing Hindu Americans that getting in bed with Trump and his white supremacist pals would backfire on them eventually. Racists are always going to be racist.
