@MrRodriguez89@gwinglemove There are actually a ton of TTRPG's that have mechanics that track the quality of PC/NPC relationships. To name a few, Apocalypse World has Hx/History; Fellowship has Companions; Fiasco has Relationships; Heart : The City Beneath has stress tracks for NPCs.
@ckunzelman Either: A Short Hike for overall design, OneShot for meta narrative, Uplink for how it recreates the feel of being a hacker or Papers Please.
@matttwood My instinct here is that as a designer you needed to play the game with all five features to completely contextualize the three features most players see. So it's still "for" the players, just in a roundabout design way rather than a direct value proposition way.
@desmarkie All I've wanted, since the inception of Unity Hub is to be able to put a plaintext document in the root of my Unity Project that changes the name displayed in the Hub instead of the Folder.
Instead we get...whatever this shit is.
@lucasmeijer Six months ago I spent a not insignificant amount of my time trying to fix a weird rendering crash on our iOS app which turned out to be rooted in a hardcoded extended UTF character pasted in code as part of a similar cute trick. I don't wish to repeat the experience.
@Fox_Fusion I had kind of assumed it was more for the experience. That said, Last year Chez Christophe did one with a pokeball that opened that was fun and delicious, so it's possible to do both.
@konjak This is a reach for evasion, but abilities that let you determine attacks are coming like time dilation, rewinding to the point where you can act differently or visual indicators of what is about to happen.

@mookraker@larsiusprime It's hard to say, but it's something familiar to me that is used to solve a similar problem.
The bottom line for me ethically with using ML stuff is the lack of attribution in training data. Creators can't check who is using their work, opt in/out or demand compensation.
people care about a vision for things and care about seeing it raw and unfiltered regardless of the expertise of the creator, or how technology was at the time of its creation and have always cared about this, even idiots care about this at some level
@j_mcelroy The most frustrating Skytrain platform feature is that the station name signs aren't always clearly visible no matter where you are positioned in the train like the London Underground signs are. It's not rocket science just put them in eyeline.
Well would you look at that, it's #WishlistWednesday again!
