@MattTakeThree @SWSClassics @Mr1000CR For the amount of days she gets out, it's pretty affordable for the service they provide. No wonder the cabbies are up in arms.
@MattTakeThree @SWSClassics @Mr1000CR She usually has a black Merc E of some description & books her favourite driver / car as they know her mobility needs.
@MattTakeThree @SWSClassics @Mr1000CR Yes, till the end. She now uses Uber to get around London. Tried telling her to use the Tube in the past, but it's too much walking for her.
@MattTakeThree @SWSClassics @Mr1000CR Neither does my mum. She had a RHD Chevy Impala, in central London, then a pagoda before the 107 in '71. Forgotten she also had an XK8 in '98.
@MattTakeThree @SWSClassics @Mr1000CR That's brilliant! I had to stop my mum driving. She's 87 as was playing bumper cars with her last one, a KIA Stinger. She was better with the one previous to that, a BMW i3 rex
@MattTakeThree @SWSClassics @Mr1000CR 😂 So true! My mum had her '71 350SL until the new one was launched, but she didn't take to the new one. Might be because it's a 6 cylinder 🤷
@MattTakeThree @SWSClassics @Mr1000CR It is, the rest of the world anyway. It's a car for the young & young families. It's just in some parts of Europe, where seniors seem to love them.
