This game is reminding me how much less screaming I do every 5th Brewer game. Holy shit, I do NOT miss Five Inning Freddy. To think we called him our "ace" for like 4 years. Dude barely gets to the 5th, throws a fuck ton of pitches, and always has that dud inning. Don't miss it!

The VAR system is a joke. It's clear FIFA directs teams and officials to promote storylines, not game play. The pace is painfully slow. Imagine the Bulls taking MJ out of Game 7 of the Finals down by 2, and then just dribbling the ball without attempting a shot. Soccer sucks.

I've tried. I really have. I've actually kind followed it, did some research on team rankings and history, paid attention to scores, and listened to some media. I appreciate the pageantry and the fact that it's such a worldwide sport. And yes, I understand it's not "easy"...

But holy shit, I just CAN'T with soccer. It may not be "easy", but it's a pretty basic game. Flopping is a strategy. Slowing down and kicking the ball back and forth is a strategy. And apparently taking out your world-class player for a sub in overtime is a strategy. It's awful.

I'm not a huge fan of City Connect jerseys in general, but the Brew Crew ones were pretty good. And I'm all for the Brewers doing what the Packers do, promoting themselves as a team for all of Wisconsin.

I might be the only Brewer fan to think this but I'm glad we traded Freddy Peralta. Great guy, very good pitcher... but not an ace despite an outstanding year last year. Great return that adds to a young core that's already won a lot of games. Sad to see him go, but a solid move!

I didn't mind this Miami team. I like Cristobal. Other than Michael Irvin acting like a fool on the sideline, I thought they were fine. Then I see them throwing punches postgame and chicken shit Carson Beck walking off the field like the coward he is. Fuck Miami, glad IU won!

'25 was already a tough year with my wife losing her Dad unexpectedly in April, but we still made some good memories. And while it was nice spending Christmas with my Dad, I'd have preferred it not to be in the Neuro ICU after emergency brain surgery. Here's to better days ahead.

I feel bad saying that because the people are wonderful, but it's just not for me. VERY hard to navigate, VERY spread out, just not a lot going on. I love me some Rust Belt Renaissance spots (Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Detroit, etc.), but this ain't one of them. 🤷

I've travel all over the country for both work and leisure and often find hidden gems or things to love just about anywhere. But St. Louis... I don't get it. I come here often for work and have tried a number of places/areas with no luck. I really struggle with this place.
