Have a listen to these disrespectful questions asked by this Channel Nine reporter when I came off the Virgin flight to Perth.
This is why mainstream media have lost much of the respect from the public.

Bezos went on CNBC yesterday and said "You could double the taxes I pay and it's not gonna help that teacher in Queens."
And all the bureaucrats and socialists lost their minds.
Promise the teacher a raise. Tax everyone. Launder the money through Washington. Then blame the billionaire. We aren't morons Ro, we've seen this before.
Bezos said the bottom half of earners should pay zero federal income tax.
A nurse in Queens making $75K hands the IRS $12K a year. He said cut it to zero. She keeps her full paycheck. No bs refund, paperwork or shady government program.
Simple.
They won't do it. And you should ask yourself why.
They don't ACTUALLY want to help anyone. They just want to pretend they tried and get your votes while making you hate the ppl they scammed.
They want the money to flow through Washington, the city, every ponzi department and consultant and charity so each one can wet their beak.
By the time it reaches the teacher it's maybe $100, if that...
And then they'll blame the billionaire who hasn't paid their "fair share." Right Warren???
Lets take a gander at Mamdani's education budget.
NYC spends $42K per student per year, 3x the national average ($15K). Highest in America. Florida pays $9K.
NYC spends more per pupil than most people pay for private school or college. Its frickn insane.
The budget has gone up every year, enrollment has gone down. With all that money only 3 out of 10 kids can read in the 8th grade. Cuba can read better english and they speak spanish lol.
So where is the money going? Def not to teachers. but shh, ro doesn't want you to know that.
A starting teacher in NYC makes $65K. Mamdani's city spends $42K per kid, runs a $40B budget. You could pay every teacher six figures with that money and have 12 kids per a classroom. But thats too logical.
It goes to administrators. Consultants. Overtime. Unions. Friends and family businesses. Pensions for people who left a decade ago. Studies about studies. Buildings that take ten years to renovate. Everyone else but the kids, teachers and actual schools
THERE IS ENOUGH MONEY.
Politicians decide where the money goes. Teachers are underpaid because of how government spends money. Not because Bezos doesn't pay enough.
Then they stand outside a billionaire's apartment with a camera and tell you he's the problem.
That's the SCAM.
Ro Khanna says tax billionaires to fund $60K teacher salaries. NYC already spends enough to fund $100K teacher salaries. The money's there, Ro. Your people are the ones who won't give it to her.
Federal level is the same story. DOE spending up 649% since 2000 and kids aren't any smarter. GAO found $186 billion in improper payments last year. $3 trillion in errors since 2003. It’s criminal.
Stop taxing the nurse. No bureaucracy. Just let the woman keep her full paycheck.
Outrage is deflection.
They'd rather she pay.
Because her keeping her own money doesn't fund the machine and they lose the one thing that keeps the whole racket going: a billionaire to blame.
Successive governments have overspent, misallocated capital and treated taxpayer money as if it were unlimited.
Now Australians are being drawn into a false argument over who should carry the burden: capital or labour, investors or workers, business or households.
That is the trap.
The real issue is not simply who pays more. The real issue is whether the government spends wisely, disciplines itself, and stops asking the productive parts of the economy to fund waste, duplication and poor policy design.
Without serious spending reform, the debate becomes a zero-sum fight between taxpayers. Capital resists. Labour feels squeezed. Households lose trust. Business delays investment. Productivity stalls.
A country cannot tax and transfer its way to prosperity if the underlying system keeps wasting the money it already takes.
Australia needs a harder conversation: not just how revenue is raised, but whether public money is being used well.
Until that happens, we will keep arguing over the bill, while avoiding the real question: why is the bill so high in the first place?
This is a perfect example why the Australia institute needs to be laughed out of existence.
The claim: number of people has increased by 16% but number of homes has increased by 19% therefore there’s plenty of homes.
The reality:
Between 2011 and 2021
- 1.9 million extra homes
- 3.3 million extra people
You can’t compare percentages of entirely different datasets!
This guy is an economist?

I want to apologise to people who have tried to get in touch with my office and haven’t received a response.
We are being inundated with thousands of calls, emails and messages every week and it’s not possible to respond to all of them.
The Albanese government cut the staff allocation to One Nation after the last election.
I have been going to both the Prime Minister and Special Minister of State Don Farrell since the staff cuts. I have been begging and pleading with them to give us more staff to deal with the heavy workload.
In fact, earlier this year a staff member wrote to the Prime Minister directly, explaining the extreme stress they are under.
Labor hasn’t even responded and couldn’t care less.
My staff have continued out of loyalty, and they want to help the Australian people but their health has now become a serious issue.
As the leader of One Nation, I have 5 Electorate officers and just 2 Parliamentary Advisers.
The Leader of the Greens, Larissa Waters, has 5 electorate officers and 15 Advisers.
The Prime Minister has 59 personal Advisers. Adding his other Ministers, the Government employs a total of 504 personal Advisers.
This is in addition to the 1,200+ employees in the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet alone and 185,000 employed by the Government as bureaucrats in the public service.
This is the Prime Minister using his powers to disadvantage his political opponents who don’t agree with his agenda.
My office deals with people in very difficult situations, complicated family law, immigration, NDIS, veterans and welfare plus many other matters.
The Australian people’s personal struggles are worse than ever – my staff have had to talk people down from the edge of taking their own lives.
Many people come to us because they get absolutely no assistance from the government and many other political offices.
It’s beyond a joke the lack of help that Labor is providing considering I would have one of the busiest political offices in the country.
I didn’t want to air this out in public, but this Albanese government has given me no choice
It’s not that we don’t want to do the work for the Australian people, it’s that we physically can’t.
My staff want to help this country and the people in it, but they’re so stressed they are close to collapsing.
I am the leader of a political party that is polling more than major political parties.
The government has failed to staff One Nation anywhere close to a functional level.
This is pure, bloody-minded politics by the Labor party.
I’ve tried everything I can to help people and will continue to do so, but my hands are tied.
The Labor party like to go on about the battlers. Well I’ve got some in my office trying to do a decent job for many Australians, but they don’t care about them.

1) I have a lot of sympathy for gov’t employees: I, too, have not checked my email for the past few (hundred) days
And I can confirm that being unemployed is a lot less relaxing than it looks
