@samatlounge @KitCaless And doing so certainly isn’t niche. In fact, modern consumers appear to care more than ever before about where what they are buying comes from. This trend is visible across multiple industries and has been for a long time.
@samatlounge @KitCaless In fact, I think that’s a really bad approach. Certainly there is a large section of the market that focusses on readers who don’t. But building dedicated marketing lists of engaged readers and investing in them as loyal customers should be a core activity for most publishers.
Just finished The Fisherman by @MrGaunt. Started reading it yesterday evening and haven’t been able to stop. An atmosphere that sucks you under and a structure so expertly executed that it keeps you there.
