" Don't use logic against me. "

[Asagami Fujino @BendingEyes]

"Well, we're girlfriends now aren't we? Isn't being bold expected?"

[𝑮𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒏𝒚 𝑰𝒕𝒛𝒕𝒍𝒊 @NightWindShaman]

" Growing bold aren't we? "

[Asagami Fujino @BendingEyes]

"Of course I did.

You're...very comfy sleeping next to. It's nice."

[𝑮𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒏𝒚 𝑰𝒕𝒛𝒕𝒍𝒊 @NightWindShaman]

" You are doing it smugly. "

She hums, then she rolls her eyes before leaning into Tamamo and kissing her forehead where she flicked twice.

[玉藻前【𝐓𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐦𝐨-𝐧𝐨-𝐌𝐚𝐞】 @KitsunesCurse]

ᅠ
⠀⠀⠀❝ Kyaaa~ How could you be so cruel? And after all we went through, too! What's so wrong with me wanting to hang around you and having a little fun?! ❞
⠀

[𝑮𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒏𝒚 𝑰𝒕𝒛𝒕𝒍𝒊 @NightWindShaman]

" Yes, I did. I trust you did the same, it would be very inconvenient if you didn't. "

[Asagami Fujino @BendingEyes]

"Morning Citlali..sleep well?"

[𝑮𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒏𝒚 𝑰𝒕𝒛𝒕𝒍𝒊 @NightWindShaman]

She knows she is fishing.

" See, very smug. "

And another flick to the smug fox's forehead.

[玉藻前【𝐓𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐦𝐨-𝐧𝐨-𝐌𝐚𝐞】 @KitsunesCurse]

ᅠ
⠀⠀⠀❝ Mikon~? Am I really that adorable~? ❞

⠀⠀⠀She asks in a tone that screams she's fishing.

⠀⠀⠀❝ Your little tsun-tsun pouting is quite adorable too, you know. ♡ ❞
⠀

[𝑮𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒏𝒚 𝑰𝒕𝒛𝒕𝒍𝒊 @NightWindShaman]

" See. . . too smug. Insufferable.
Your ego has increased. . . "

A huff.

" Your ear wiggles are adorable. "

[玉藻前【𝐓𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐦𝐨-𝐧𝐨-𝐌𝐚𝐞】 @KitsunesCurse]

ᅠ
⠀⠀⠀Ears flick, tail wagging excitedly.

⠀⠀⠀❝ Oh, praise me more, darling~ ♡ You're so pretty when you look at me like that! ❞
⠀

[𝑮𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒏𝒚 𝑰𝒕𝒛𝒕𝒍𝒊 @NightWindShaman]

" Wha? No! I was simply observing the ah. . . . The field! Yes, that is what I was doing. "

[Aether @TeyvatWalker]

"Looking for something Citlali?"

[𝑮𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒏𝒚 𝑰𝒕𝒛𝒕𝒍𝒊 @NightWindShaman]

" Smug, that adorable little grin on your face when you are thinking things. "

[玉藻前【𝐓𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐦𝐨-𝐧𝐨-𝐌𝐚𝐞】 @KitsunesCurse]

ᅠ
⠀⠀⠀❝ What do you mean SMUG?! That doesn't make any sense! Explain yourself, now! ❞
⠀

[𝑮𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒏𝒚 𝑰𝒕𝒛𝒕𝒍𝒊 @NightWindShaman]

" You were being smug about it. "

[玉藻前【𝐓𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐦𝐨-𝐧𝐨-𝐌𝐚𝐞】 @KitsunesCurse]

ᅠ
⠀⠀⠀❝ HEY! I'm trying to shower you with adoration! ❞

[𝑮𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒏𝒚 𝑰𝒕𝒛𝒕𝒍𝒊 @NightWindShaman]

-- truly want the shaman to follow the novels written by Yae Miko of *All* people?

" Well then Fujino, come here. "

[𝑮𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒏𝒚 𝑰𝒕𝒛𝒕𝒍𝒊 @NightWindShaman]

Citlali already likes her.
That would be apparent when she allowed her to sleep in her home without paying any rent or expecting her to really do much around the home.

Tho her cleaning it and keeping it tidy is appreciated.

As for the romance books. . .
Does she --

[Asagami Fujino @BendingEyes]

"....Ah?"

Wait, it was that simple? And she was asking HER about what to do? She expected that all those books would've given the shaman endless knowledge on the workings of romance, and not..being so casual about it.

"Yes, of course..you're free to call me whatever you wish.-

[𝑮𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒏𝒚 𝑰𝒕𝒛𝒕𝒍𝒊 @NightWindShaman]

-- lifespan brings into the equation.

" So should I call you by name now or. . . "

She also has no idea how to act like a lover either. So good luck teaching her Fujino 👍.

[𝑮𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒏𝒚 𝑰𝒕𝒛𝒕𝒍𝒊 @NightWindShaman]

" Ah, I see. "

She hums, raising her gaze to look at the young girl for several moments.

" Sure I can give it a shot. "

The act of romance is not something the shaman has well and truly thought of.
She didn't actively seek them.

Because if the strain her long --

[Asagami Fujino @BendingEyes]

"....Listen, it's been a long while since I've been here. You've been so nice to take me into your home, train me, and be patient with me...

And I..think as that time went on, and I started thinking about you more and more, it led me to..think of you differently."-

[𝑮𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒏𝒚 𝑰𝒕𝒛𝒕𝒍𝒊 @NightWindShaman]

" Don't know what that's relevant. But no, I've never had a partner before. "

She can see the anxiety rollin into her in waves. It's like the poor girl was contemplating the pros and cons of her actions milliseconds before speaking.

[Asagami Fujino @BendingEyes]

"...Citlali, have you..ever had a partner? I mean, a partner in..romance?"

She asked nervously. She had been around her enough that if the shaman DID have someone, she would've seen it.

[𝑮𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒏𝒚 𝑰𝒕𝒛𝒕𝒍𝒊 @NightWindShaman]

" Yes? "

Citlali is not so delusional as to grow angry over the fact that she is older than most in Natlan.

Only the seven are older than her, and technically speaking Mavuika is younger than her.

[Asagami Fujino @BendingEyes]

"So long..it's really easy to forget you're so older than me."

Not a negative at all. A positive actually (Would she get mad if Fujino said that? Regardless-)

"It's been wonderful living here with you though..but I wanted to ask you about..well, something in relation to that."

[𝑮𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒏𝒚 𝑰𝒕𝒛𝒕𝒍𝒊 @NightWindShaman]

" Hmmmm, you could say over a thousand years give it take. "

She would say a few months, because she was living with her grandson.

But she assumes that is not what she wanted to hear.
So she gave the years before she even had Ororon in her life.

[Asagami Fujino @BendingEyes]

-Citlali.

"Citlali...how long did you live here alone before I showed up?"

[𝑮𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒏𝒚 𝑰𝒕𝒛𝒕𝒍𝒊 @NightWindShaman]

"Sure. But make it quick. "

Contrary to popular belief.

Citlali *does* have a job.
Just because she procrastinates. . . a lot. . . Doesn't mean she doesn't have one.

She is currently doing said job. Grading some reports from the students she was *forced* to take.

[Asagami Fujino @BendingEyes]

....Indeed.

"...Citlali?'

Fujino spoke the shaman's name, the rain pouring outside as she looked over her.

"Do you have a minute? I need to ask you something."
