@Etsy I have an open ticket, submitted the info requested and it's been over a week and I haven't heard anything. Help? Please? Don't think I've ever bought anything despite having an account for 11 years.. first time I do and I get suspended for suspicious activity.
@TheRealGabrielD@SeaOfThieves It's a rough one. Cosmetics getting added more often would be neat especially so there's less wait if I don't like a new set, but I know that takes time and resources.
@lonerider543@SeaOfThieves Example.. one time we ran into a father/son team that was on the struggle bus. We helped them out, helped them do an ashen winds, then escorted them so they could sell it. That was a wholesome encounter and stuff like that won't happen if everyone is in a solo server.
@lonerider543@SeaOfThieves Sot has always had the possibility of pvp. I don't know why people want them to make the game something it's not. What concerns me about letting people have personal servers is taking population and thus interaction out of the game. Not even talking about pvp. (TBC)
@cynibot@iShroudey@drzachary@SeaOfThieves Sitting in HG all the time is boring. There are a lot of people that like to do world events and voyages that enjoy being contested. Getting attacked adds thrill. Doing these things for free is boring. I want to fight for my loot.
@TheRealGabrielD@SeaOfThieves I don't want double on high seas. It's already so easy to get gold and loot there. I want the gold I earn to feel meaningful and dumping buckets of gold at my foot won't fulfill that for me.
@CyberneticWoe@SeaOfThieves Yep, we always leave tall talers alone. Accidentally sank one a time or two (they were emissaried) then seen the tall tale item. Felt bad so we left their tall tale item in a safe place and dm'd to tell them where it was so they could finish their tale.
@requester47 @MysticTrix91 @SeaOfThieves I use my shovel all the time. My preferred method is to pirate loot from other pirates in the pirate game, but I'm not above doing riddles or x marks the spot or any of the other voyages that require digging.
@GeekzAnonymous@SeaOfThieves I don't think many people actually enjoy sinking "easy targets". I know I don't. It's not fun to just steamroll some clueless person. I do sink runners though.. every time.
@Morguerothe@SeaOfThieves Emissary adds additional threat, hence the extra reward. You have 0 threat on safer seas so you shouldn't get the same rewards, or anything close to it. It's meant to learn the game, not exist in your own bubble indefinitely.
@BcrcGaming@SeaOfThieves Safer seas is meant to be an extended tutorial, not somewhere for people to exist in their own bubble indefinitely. If you don't like piracy in the pirate game, don't play it. Go play one of the other games you mentioned. 0 risk shouldn't net the same rewards.
@lonerider543@SeaOfThieves Safer seas should be for learning the game and getting your feet wet... not for existing in your own personal bubble indefinitely. No risk, substantially lower reward. It's fair. Honestly, 30% is too high as it is.
@ItzNightLite@SeaOfThieves We took our 4 year old on a brig. We got rolled up on by an aggressive boat. We eventually sank, but our kid had a blast fighting that boat.
