And it’s the coaches who take care of the baseball and softball fields not the Amphi District. The fields themselves are intimidating to opponents, especially the softball field which lists EVERY D-1 player on the fence. Not in tiny writing.

The end of an era.

Perry announces legendary head indoor and beach volleyball coach Fred Mann has retired. Mann began coaching 31 years ago at Mountain Pointe, where he won seven state titles with the boys and one with the girls. He was 291-75 as the head girls’ indoor coach at Perry and won a state title with the beach team in 2018.

Mann is responsible for helping send over 40 athletes to the next level.
