$SPCX reports its first quarterly results as a public company on August 4.
This is not just an earnings test. It is a credibility test for the much steeper second-half growth already built into forecasts.
Investors will be watching Starlink subscriber economics, AI compute contracts, V3 deployment progress and the durability of customer demand.
Another risk arrives shortly after earnings, with a large number of shares potentially becoming eligible for sale from August 6.
The key question to focus on:
Can SpaceX turn Starlink and compute capacity into durable growth before the market absorbs a much larger float?

🚨FED CHAIR WARSH CONSIDERS FEWER FOMC MEETINGS!
Kevin Warsh is weighing a cut in the number of scheduled Fed rate-setting meetings, which currently stand at eight per year, per NYT.
He raised the idea at this week’s gathering and is seeking feedback, with a possible decision before mid-September.
The FOMC has held eight meetings annually since 1981. Federal law requires only four.
Fewer meetings would mean less frequent rate votes and less market drama, fitting Warsh’s push for less Fed noise.
Three Federal Reserve officials who voted to raise interest rates this week say action is needed now to bring inflation back toward the 2% target
Beth Hammack, Neel Kashkari and Lorie Logan dissented from the Fed’s 9–3 decision to hold rates at 3.50%–3.75%, arguing that current policy is not restrictive enough
Hammack said inflation has remained above 2% for more than five years, while Kashkari warned that delaying smaller hikes could force the Fed to take more aggressive action later
Wall Street ended sharply higher, with chip stocks jumping and Microsoft logging its biggest daily percentage gain in 18 years after the technology giant gave a stellar forecast that eased fears about massive spending on AI infrastructure https://t.co/Y0WDMsWLv5
