Minimum 28 votes were required.

Parimal Nathwani comfortably crossed it with 28+ votes through cross-voting.

Pranav Jha (special aide to Mallikarjun Kharge) was left humiliated with only 20 votes.

CONgress, JMM, RJD and Left together controlled 56 MLAs. Yet CONgress still lost pathetically.

Why? Pure arrogance. Your high command announced its candidate without bothering to consult Hemant Soren, angering JMM. RJD and Left MLAs happily cross-voted in revenge or for short-term personal gains. The result is there for everyone to see.

CONgress itself gifted Ambani’s man a comfortable Rajya Sabha throne.

Even Businessworld had to write it “CONgress Gifts Ambani Man a Rajya Sabha Throne”.

You scream from every stage “Shut down Adani-Ambani’s shop”.

Meanwhile, your party and the crumbling INDIA bloc are the ones delivering them seats in Parliament through their own stupidity and cross-voting.

This is not an accident. This is your consistent pattern of failure.

You never learn from the past. Every single time, short-term greed, ego-driven arrogance and pathetic internal sabotage make you shoot yourself in the foot. You insult and anger your own allies, trigger cross-voting, and then cry victim blaming “Modi-Ambani nexus”.
