@lyssasphere@QuestionAbyss I agree. I can't get behind it being an either/or answer. The crazy psychologist in me wants it to be nurture, but doesn't really believe that. Another part says nature, but also knows better π
@unwizemonkey@QuestionAbyss Rhetoric being one of the main things Abe didn't really account for. Whether it's rhetoric that we tell ourselves or rhetoric that exists memetically that we're convinced is "meaningful".
@lyssasphere We wouldn't have had the Bohrs and Feynmans if everyone just stayed with the same old routine, for sure. I'm just skeptical of anything that comes out of a lot of the tin foil hat guys because their thinkers don't seem up to par...
