@Leg_baseball Ball was mashed, but can we talk about how much faith the coach behind the mound has in his pitcher’s glove? Pitcher’s pumpin ched, batter’s got a metal WMD, coach’s got 0 protection from a ball up the middle
@PeakedInHS_FF@MyFantasyLeague Love the spreadsheet! I'm starting to understand the values in a trade. How do the values adjust, if at all, for a 10 team league? Also, for a 3wr league (1qb/2rb/3wr/1te/1flex)?
This narrative that ~.500 teams need to either be defined as a either “buyer or seller” at the deadline is juvenile. You can be both and improve your team. Does anyone really want a fire sale of all good players and a 4-6 yr rebuild that MIGHT work? 😬
Fans and media that are perpetually negative with regards to team performance and transactions are exhausting. Begs the question: are you even a fan at that point?
Any ball hit near the LF line at Fenway: “There is not a lot of room down that left field line”
🤝
Any dad tying something down: *gives a test tug* “Yeah that’s not going anywhere” @ColeyMick
@redsoxstats It’s where they keep their arm bent and get to the release point quicker, without ever straightening the arm. But you make a good point, pitchers aren’t here for a long time, they’re here for a good time 🤷🏼♂️
@redsoxstats I know it’s the new thing with guys like Bieber and Bauer fully behind it, but this “elbow spiraling” thing just doesn’t sit right with me. Brings more velo and sharper stuff, but it HAS to put so much more strain on their arms, right?
@camdasilva@DrJesseMorse any updated thoughts on Akers? Pretty sure he’s technically eligible to return this season if healthy. Between this and the rib cartridge injury, Akers seems superhuman
@redsoxstats Is there any tangible discrepancy in injury history/toll on the body between SS and 2B - similar to SD moving Tatis to OF? Xander just looks much healthier swinging the bat after his absence, seems like a massive impact on the whole team when he is on vs off
@MollieeWalkerr Obviously, a certain level of respect is required, but a higher up in the sports industry told me to use first names unless directed otherwise. This should not be an issue in today’s workplace, especially someone in your position
