@Nishaobgyn@claski You choose how to react to situations. Good can always be seen, even in the crappiest of circumstances - like having his wife of 40+ years be diagnosed with a shitty diagnosis. We see's a positive side.β€
@EDMusos @DFTBubbles I can absolutely appreciate that!!! Well done on providing an outlet for people. Even the practicing provided a nice wind down and distraction for me.
@EDMusos @DFTBubbles Can't wait to see it! I have a bit of FOMO on this one. I learnt my part but never recorded b/c we were moving house. π€Will there be a next one?
@BillR71022242 @Rogereedo @SParnis Yes. They are busy and stressed. Other disease processes dont stop because there's a pandemic. Pts are sicker, because they leave it longer. Pts who are +ve stay for weeks = using beds others would have = issues with access to wards. Its extremely complex. A tweet can't explain.
@drdeannechiu I feel guilty that I'm not on the floor more. Like I've failed my staff because I sit at a desk most of the time.
My manager told me that I'm simply not a floor nurse anymore, and I do what I can from within the confines of my role.
I feel like a fraud. I know I've done good tho

@drdeannechiu @KK_medicine@MedEdBot@alexandermcroft When I went to a uni intensive for a simulation unit, someone fein-fainted during a lecture. Obviously I couldn't help myself - I ran straight down to help, and rolled my crap ankle while doing it.
The point? Sim can be done anywhere/time. Plus, full immersion is crucial!π€·πΌββοΈπ€¦πΌββοΈ
