Weird that a punk ass who tried to suppress @nikrichie's First Amendment rights is also tanking in the free agency market. (Although, whatever, I can't even skate)
Every time the Boston Globe asks me for a quote, I tell them to piss off. I don't give quotes to the Globe.
Here's an example of why. The Boston Globe thinks this is a gotcha.
No concept of the fact that this is exactly what a First Amendment lawyer does. There is no higher calling to me than to defend the free speech rights of someone that everyone thinks should be silenced. (Especially the Globe)
I'm proud to have represented a Nazi, what you call "conspiracy theorists," and any other "undesirable." I'm proud to have represented "Queers for Palestine" types, right alongside Jewish troublemakers.
I've even stooped so low as to represent journalists.
It's called principle. It's called patriotism. It's something @Dan_Shaughnessy and the Boston Globe lack. I'm proud to do my job, and I am very proud to be despised by the Boston Globe for doing it.
Evander Kane, the NHL player, got a secret injunction against @nikrichie (Nik Richie), making him take down an interview he did with Kane's ex. He based it on the fact that Kane has a Canadian injunction against his ex wife, so an American journalist can't interview her. 1/🧵
ICYMI - Evander Kane got an ex parte prior restraint against a journalist, gagging him from interviewing his ex-wife
How do you think that’s gonna work out for him?
Never seen this happen to a journalist, especially one that wants to do good for mothers. @marcorandazza let’s get our dancing shoes on. Thank you @nhl@evanderkane 🇺🇸 https://t.co/19LhGMSeFY
