I was trying to build a midrange Merfolk deck and I slowly replaced all the Merfolk with Faeries until it was winning.

@arjaywizardry It’s probably a card that acts better like Delver in that you build your deck around this one card for a maximum payoff. It doesn’t look worthwhile in a regular Merfolk deck. But who knows. I like that it has flying for natural evasion.

This is pretty messed up. As pointed out by Donato Giancola on FB, it seems the new printing of The One Ring is just a flipped cutout of a previous borderless printing (artist credit: Marta Nael) with the runes removed, then plopped onto a Dan Frazier background. 😡
