**THIS CHILD IS NO ORDINARY SOUL! ♥️🙏**

Such extraordinary faith in Bhagavan Shri Krishna! Such innocence, such surrender, and such profound spiritual understanding at such a tender age!

Having lost his hand, this little child says:

“Bhagavan wanted my hand, so I gave it to Him. I have no pain.”

Just imagine the depth of his faith!

It is easy to proclaim ourselves devotees when life is comfortable, when everything is going our way, and when Krishna fulfils our desires.

**But the real test of devotion comes when life takes away something precious from us.**

When the body suffers, when circumstances become unbearable, and when everything seems to be falling apart, can we still look towards Krishna with the same love, faith, and surrender?

This little child is teaching us a lesson that even many lifelong practitioners of Bhakti struggle to realise.

I am reminded of one of the most beautiful verses from the **Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam (10.14.8)**, spoken by Lord Brahmā:

**तत्तेऽनुकम्पां सुसमीक्षमाणो
भुञ्जान एवात्मकृतं विपाकम् ।
हृद्वाग्वपुर्भिर्विदधन्नमस्ते
जीवेत यो मुक्तिपदे स दायभाक् ॥**

*tat te ’nukampāṁ su-samīkṣamāṇo*
*bhuñjāna evātma-kṛtaṁ vipākam*
*hṛd-vāg-vapurbhir vidadhan namas te*
*jīveta yo mukti-pade sa dāya-bhāk*

**Translation by His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Śrīla Prabhupāda:**

“One who seeks Your compassion and thus tolerates all kinds of adverse conditions due to the karma of his own past deeds, who engages always in Your devotional service with his mind, words and body, and who always offers obeisances unto You, is certainly a bona fide candidate for becoming Your unalloyed devotee.”

**Mukti-pade sa dāya-bhāk!**

Such a devotee becomes a rightful heir to liberation, just as a child naturally inherits the property of his father.

And according to our Gauḍīya Vaiṣṇava siddhānta, the ultimate perfection of life is not merely liberation from material suffering. It is something infinitely greater: **the attainment of eternal loving devotional service at the lotus feet of Shri Shri Radha-Krishna.**

Śrīla Prabhupāda taught us that Krishna consciousness does not mean that suffering will never come. Rather, a devotee learns to see Krishna's mercy even amidst life's greatest difficulties and never abandons His lotus feet.

We cannot determine someone's spiritual perfection from a short video, but the faith expressed by this little child is truly extraordinary.

**He may have lost a hand, but he has shown us something that many of us spend an entire lifetime searching for—unshakable faith in Bhagavan Shri Krishna.**

His words remind us that the body is temporary, but the soul is eternal. Our relationship with Krishna cannot be destroyed by any material circumstance.

May Shri Krishna protect this precious child, relieve his suffering, and bless him with every opportunity to live a happy, healthy, and Krishna-conscious life.

And may we all learn even a fraction of his extraordinary faith and surrender.

Initially, when I started hearing about this, I did not want to write about it so as not to sensationalise it.

Now many people are coming forward with what is happening to them.

Being laid off is not in your control, but please do not quit your job in the software industry.

People with even 10 to 20 years of experience are not getting even a single call after literally hundreds of applications.

Except in certain domains and niches, it looks like no meaningful recruitment is happening in the software industry. I am not only talking about entry level jobs. It is jobs at any level.

Sridhar Vembu has posted today that Zoho cannot give the usual pay hikes this year. A person who has created so much rural employment is now saying he will work hard towards avoiding mass layoffs.

Zoho has not been able to meaningfully add to its employee count for the last 18 months. As an ultimate insider, Vembu says the outlook is becoming grim for software jobs.

There is no magic wand to offer immediate solutions for such serious problems.

The past has taught us that new industries and new opportunities keep emerging.

That is what the entire software industry may also go through in the next few years.

Vembu ends the note by asking everyone to pray for them.
