@wjeffpetty Our son, since 12U, never wanted us near the dugout. He’s playing away in college now. We understood it’s a distraction and not only to him. If he needed something, he would step out and motion one of us to come over. It’s baseball, his world, so his cues. Maybe just his ethics.

@sixfourclub Self love and acceptance are key, in my opinion. Can’t get very far mentally and emotionally without them. It’s funny how things fall in place, and physical / mental growth happens when we first learn to love ourselves. We should be happy for others’ successes, not jealous.
