@OneNationAus The position of Ambassador to USA was only for three years. He was asked to stay an extra year. Be honest with your supporters... I know it's hard..! Rudd decided, for personal reasons, to leave at the end of his 3 year term. Got a better offer, I reckon..!!

@jacksonhinkle It does, indeed work. The greatest good, for the greater majority of its citizens. Much more effective in bringing its people out of ignorance & poverty. And, China has far more millionaires/Billionaires than US ... it's a much fairer system. Western freedoms are overrated.

@KerenZelwer You would think a RC would undoubtedly delay JUSTICE for those who list loved ones.! Shouldn't an investigation & trial of the alleged perpetrator come FIRST..?? Otherwise, what happened to the presumption of innocence. You & everyone calling for a Federal RC have it arse about!

All the journalists, politicians and lobbyists pushing for a royal commission into the Bondi Beach mass murders on December 14 know it's impossible for one to happen while the sub judice period is in place.
If it went ahead now, the alleged killer's chance of getting a fair trial will go out the window if a public inquiry of this nature is held before the criminal process is finished.
If Anthony Albanese goes down this path, the victims and their families may never get a legal outcome.
I know some of the families support this, but I don't think anyone has explained to them the consequences.
It would have to happen after the criminal process finishes - which could take a year to five years depending on the alleged killer's plea decisions.
