The Tickle v Giggle judge asserted that, “on its ordinary meaning, sex is changeable.”

No, the simply existence of the letters M or F on a birth certificate is not the "ordinary meaning" of sex. Those letters refer to real things, and those things cannot be changed in reality.

The fact that there is no law of physics preventing some government employee from printing out a new birth certificate for someone with a different letter in the field for sex than the original doesn't mean "sex is changeable."

Printing out a new ID listing me as 7-feet tall would not suddenly enable me to dunk a basketball.

The map is not the territory. Simply changing letters and numbers on a legal document doesn't change the underlying reality.

No trans rugby players where studied, i was also then only trans rugby player in the room with world rugby and myself sport engalnd and the IGR where not allowed to speak

The sex, gender or chromosomal status of an athlete does not create any inherent danger or risk to safety. Rather, it is dis- parities in strength, speed & endurance and/or physique of each individual athlete that may, depending on the sport

@KirstiMiller30 Unfortunately, by UK legislation and policy, yes - though the prevailing culture is that facilitating such impact sports are a GOOD thing to do. At the moment, informed consent is not possible for adults, let alone u18s.

A trans athlete can be legally exempt from playing under the community levels guidelines and state and federal laws if an unfairness or safety disparity exists

a precedent that would argue for the exclusion of equally big and strong sis athletes.
From a safety perspective, it is the disparity in size and strength that is relevant, not the source of the disparity.

Importantly, the 2020 Policy states it ‘will not arise simply from the proposed participation of a gender diverse person’.
