A fabulous 11 mile hike yesterday to #winhill, across the roman road and then up to crook hill. A beautiful day, very clear and we got to see the sunrise. The boy did good 😊 @SouthwellClass @LeasStAndrews @LeasinghamScout

We survived Helvellyn.. what a day. Mark did awesome scrambling over the top of the ridge, striding edge, then down swirral edge. A day we'll never forget 🥰 my favourite mountain to date!! #satchwellhikers @LeasStAndrews

We did it! We climbed the highest mountain in England.. scafell pike.. 978m! Mark did fantastic. We loved it!! @LeasinghamScout @LeasStAndrews

We had the best day in the peaks yesterday, Mark's favourite thing-scrambling! Over 6 miles of fun, great weather and beautiful views. Crowden clough up to kinder plateau and we bagged an Ethel at grindslow knoll. #hiking #thesatchwellhikers @LeasStAndrews @LeasinghamScout

Unbelievable day, we had 3 seasons of weather in 9 miles! Was a gruelling day, after hail stinging outlr faces and wind nearly blowing us over... but amazing views. The boy did fantastic, such a super boy! @LeasStAndrews @LeasinghamScout
