This week, I authored the Things Worth Remembering column with the @TheFP.
Today, too many Americans fear the promise of America is fading away, but the whole point of the experiment is that the people always have the power to chart our own future.
As we celebrate America’s 250th birthday, I look back to Calvin Coolidge’s speech on the nation’s 150th. His words give voice to the enduring belief my parents instilled in my siblings and me: that the promises in the Declaration of Independence are final for all Americans.

When I read the speech Calvin Coolidge gave on America’s 150th birthday, I hear the same truth my parents brought with them from India: We are so very blessed to live in this country. https://t.co/zZguOSJDMd
Never forget just how fortunate we are to live in the greatest country in the world. Today let’s all take a moment to reflect on the freedoms we enjoy and recommit ourselves to always defending them.
Happy 250, America! May God continue to bless The United Sates for many more! 🇺🇸❤️

New York: it's hot out there, and the power grid is working overtime to keep us cool.
Set your AC to 78 degrees, turn off lights/electronics you're not using, and unplug what you can.
Our City is doing its part too: maintaining the 78 degrees rule in our buildings, dimming/turning off our lights during peak electricity demand, asking private partners to do the same, and powering down non-essential equipment.
A stable grid means the AC stays on, and lives are saved. Let's ease demand — and get through the heat — together.
Melat Kiros, and her fellow DSA members, are openly hostile to America and brazenly antisemitic.
She has blamed the United States for 9/11, called October 7 “inevitable,” and refused to call the firebombing of Jews in her own city antisemitism.
They no longer speak for the fringe, they represent who the Left has become.
🚨 The Supreme Court upheld West Virginia and Idaho laws limiting girls' and women's school sports teams to biological females, holding that Title IX permits sex-separated teams based on biological sex and that the laws do not violate the Equal Protection Clause.
Moving Iranian oil helps China. Iranian coercion over the strait helps China. Wresting the strait from Iran helps the US in our competition with China. Hello.
Keep the sanctions on Iran. Don’t unfreeze their assets. Put the pressure on China and Russia to stop buying oil and supplying Iran with equipment. The administration did the bulk of the work. Reversing the progress that was made is a waste. Keep the pressure on and have the gulf states support that pressure. You have to stop their ability to get any money.
This is not an illogical view. But the people who hold it owe us a full explanation of what they expect us to do. Nuke them? Reduce the entire nation to rubble? Flood them with 100,000 of America’s sons and daughters? Trump won’t do it, and the American people won’t stand for it.
Iran will never follow through on any MOU.
Iran will never agree to a deal.
Iran will never give up its nuclear ambitions.
Iran will never voluntarily give up control of the Strait.
Iran will never stop supporting terrorists proxies.
Iran will never be a normal country under this regime.
This is how the regime treats the Iranian people. Believe them when they say “Death to America.”
No handshake will change who they are or what they believe.
Disgusting behavior by senior UN official @_VanessaFrazier interrupting a member state after she had her opportunity to give her remarks. The fact that @UN officials would allow this shows how far the institution has fallen. There should be a reprimand and statement by @antonioguterres I won’t hold my breath.
Watch: During a UN discussion, an attempt was made by Special Representative @_VanessaFrazier to interrupt my remarks and shut down legitimate criticism. I refused to be silenced.
Hitting Iran’s nuclear and missile sites was the right move. This regime chants death to America, murders our troops, and attempts to assassinate Americans on U.S. soil. They believe they have an obligation to destroy us.
Now, we plan to unlock billions of dollars and lift sanctions, with the promise of even more money. They will use that money the way they always do— to further their nuclear ambitions and on terrorist proxies against us. It’s a huge mistake to pay to rebuild the threat we just destroyed.

Under @john_walters_’s leadership, @HudsonInstitute is of the most respected policy institutions in the country — thanks to an unwavering commitment to American strength.
With Joel leading the next chapter, Hudson is well-positioned to continue advancing the cause of American leadership in an increasingly challenging world.
Congratulations, Joel. Well deserved!
A deal with Iran must:
- Eliminate every path to a nuclear weapon
- Open the Strait without tolls
- End support for terrorist proxies
- Provide no sanctions relief, or unfrozen cash, unless those conditions are met and held.
