Absolutely unacceptable service from @AAMI.
My claim was lodged, an assessment appointment was booked, I received confirmation emails from the assessor, and everything was confirmed. Based on that, I took time off work and attended the appointment as instructed.
When I arrived, I was told that AAMI had cancelled the appointment and that my claim was under review. Not a single phone call, email, or text message was sent to notify me of this change.
As a result, I lost a day’s pay, wasted my time, and travelled to an appointment that should never have existed if the claim was still being reviewed.
How can a customer be expected to trust the process when confirmed appointments are cancelled without any communication? This level of service is extremely disappointing and has caused unnecessary stress, inconvenience, and financial loss.
I expect an explanation and a resolution.
