ज्ञानी जी कहते हैं कि अगर सिखों के कत्लेआम के लिए पंजाब पुलिस गुनहगार थी तो उस दौर में मारे गए 36,000 बेगुनाह हिंदुओं की मौत का जिम्मेदार कौन था? वे सीधे तौर पर खालिस्तानी सोच और युवाओं को गुमराह करने वालों पर तंज कसते हुए कहते हैं कि केवल फिल्में देखकर पंजाब को उजाड़ने और यहां की युवा पीढ़ी को फिर से हिंसा की आग में झोंकने की ये जो हरकतें की जा रही हैं, वे पंजाब के उज्जवल भविष्य के लिए बेहद घातक हैं
