And so, #cy2026eu comes to an end. What an enriching, fun journey it's been for @CyprusinFinland and for everyone in our small team! Well done to 🇨🇾🇪🇺 colleagues in capital and in Brussels for their hard work and for the incredible results achieved. Their vision and leadership enabled us also to deliver what was hopefully a meaningful Presidency programme of activities in 🇫🇮 and 🇪🇪. Thank you to officials, colleagues and friends of the Embassy in both countries, for the valuable support and positive engagement.

It's always a special occasion when our group of EU Ambassadors gets to meet with 🇪🇪 FM Margus @Tsahkna. I was privileged to host our traditional working luncheon, the first in Estonia under #CY2026EU 🇨🇾🇪🇺. The timing could hardly have been more poignant, coming 2 days after the Minister's return from Kyiv, making for particularly useful and interesting discussions. Suur aitäh Minister and colleagues.

Today’s Heads of Mission meeting with EU ambassadors, hosted by the Cyprus Presidency and @Demetris_Samuel focused on key EU priorities: the MFF, EU enlargement, continued support for Ukraine, pressure on Russia, and Europe’s security.

I value the strong, practical cooperation with the EU diplomatic community in Estonia.
