I left Russia 9 years ago because it is taking the wrong way. I imagined that Russia will rot and decay. The reality was gloomier.
Possibly, it is because the guys like me decided to jump, not fight? Anyway, I am sorry for that...
However little it costs.

We have 2 exciting positions for an organic chemist positions; https://t.co/4dniFs6bux
To make a tangible difference that you can see, work on multiple project and experience a wide range of chemistries; halve the energy consumption in chemical processes and learn?
@Chemjobber
I had a chat with a Russian friend with PhD and such. Over the weeks, he moved from "I understand Ukrainians; might have defended my home myself" to "I would jump with a stick to someone proclaiming kill the Russians slogan". He is not happy to exterminate all the Ukrainians, yet
Dear @JoatStewart, Thanks for your excellent books. Would you be interested to visit Whitley Abbey Primary School during “Mathematics celebration week”?
Soon, the mass of Germans’ bewilderment turned to anger against the man who ruled the country since 1933 and who was responsible for this fiasco.
One of the wounded soldiers… spoke for great many…
When it comes to what high-ups were thinking, there are 2 possibilities:
Either they were total idiots who had no idea what the Ivans and the Yanks are capable of putting into the war.
But the other possibility would be even worse – they knew full well but they took the risk all the same at our expense.
And we stupid assholes went all along with it
@IanJamesFM You must establish the rule first. You are in 21st century; start with its rules.
First, select a visible trait in decenters - a few are ginger-haired.
Order executions. It is a small price to pay for prosperity. Pile the corpses into the book, called shitbrook for a reason...
@IanJamesFM, may you possibly direct me somewhere?
For over a month I am quite struggling with the Russian’s war. Being Russian, I expected some major crap for 15 years and jumped the ship pre-emptively while I could offer value in return. But I never believed it.

@IanJamesFM You come from the 25th century to Exeter to teach the people the right way. To shortcut 5 centuries of war, plague, decay, and famine. You know the way.
People listen to you, they follow your advice.
In a few days, some decent appears. They want to derail the way of prosperity.
@IanJamesFM I am more afraid of people who don't care.
The fanatics are a minority here and their motivation in not given.
But how could you ignore tanks rolling into your granny's village and bombing nephew's hometown?
A plausible answer is such people don't care about themselves

I struggle understanding how people could support the war as one of the few ultimate actions. But how many such supporters do you need? Is it different for various activities (plunder, war, mass executions)? Is it a raising ladder or a narrowing tunnel?

But adding pores randomly will make it water-transporting at some point. Putting pores in the right places requires not many pores. The same logic applies for thermal or electrical conductivity, etc.
Note the movement and flow patterns in the SABRe system - slow recirculation of the fluorescent dye in glycerol (extra-high viscosity to make the flow visible).
This is a preview of our glass SABRe. Do you want to try?
