Mikel Merino reveals the day Arsenal clinched the Premier League title
"After our 2-2 draw against Wolverhampton despite leading by two goals, we heard the phrase 'Arsenal being Arsenal as usual' again. And honestly, there were doubts even within the team."
"The next day, the players held a meeting in the dressing room without Arteta. Everyone spoke, and no one discussed tactical matters"
"The meeting was about how we as a group deal with difficulties. I said that we as players need to take responsibility, because the coach can't do everything on his own"
"When one person takes on too many responsibilities within the club, you need leaders who can find solutions on their own, and that's what we have at Arsenal"
"From my point of view, that was the day we won the Premier League title"
"Even when we lost to Bournemouth and Manchester City, that meeting kept our unity intact. We decided to turn all the criticism into fuel, and thanks to social media, we saw everything"

I don’t like the argument that financial doping isn’t as bad as PEDs, because talent trumps all. Russia did PEDs & didn’t win anything. Financial doping allows you to acquire the best talent. In their prime City’s 2nd team would’ve come top 4, that’s a bigger advantage than PEDS
Genuinely feels soulless watching them play. Atleast last season there was rivalry, this just feels like a waste of everyones time.
“The fans and players havent done anything” Look at how smug they are acting.
Genuine disgrace they are allowed to play in the Premier League.
"Get lost! How dare you ruin what's part of our country, our DNA in this country."
Ian Holloway had some very strong words when asked about the Man City charges.
So, just to clarify, the UAE are telling the British government that they're only willing to invest in Britain if they are allowed to break any rules they want? The only response should be: Bye bye, UAE.
Is voting public?
Every club and its fans have a right to know which side the owners and execs of their clubs voted on so they can hold them accountable. This is about fairness in the beautiful game and not vested monetary interests of a few.
Just to be clear, this is essentially them admitting guilt to everyone in the world but trying to get off on a technicality. This is the worst form of scum. Dirty and shameless.
