@DoesItPlay1@DannyBurciaga There is a physical release on Switch 2, at least in Europe. Yes, it's a game key card, but as it's sold in stores and has most of the advantages of physical releases like easy lending and reselling, I would consider it more a physical purchase than a digital one.
@GloveBox03@jdkay904@animepsto Nah, there is only one season and it's perfect. If they made any more they would probably screw it up somehow... but there is only one luckily.
@RinoTheBouncer Probably chose a sexual explicit name as a kid and though it was funny and now they finally cought on. He can be happy it took this long.
What's more problematic for everyone is that PlayStation has very limited options for names, making good name changes almost impossible.
@mrpyo1 Actually Nintendo is 'pay a large upgrade fee and we included new content that you won't care about that is mandatory with the upgrade', while Square Enix is the one with 'rebuy the whole game and fuck you, save games won't transfer over'
@AncientAries77@DawnwalkerGame They did say it was already being tested, so they were actually working on it. I do agree that they should have maybe waited with the communication of the different graphic modes untill they were sure they could or could not include 60fps mode, which could have avoided the drama.
@DawnwalkerGame Loving the addition of the performance mode, but even more loving the communication with your fans about their concerns.
Small indie companies like Sony could learn a lot from you guys.
@cyberkn1ght99@reIkarosus@sotergc Unlike disk based games, switch cartridges can also be played directly from the cartridge, saving room on the internal memory and anyone you lend the game to can instantly play without a connection. And God forbid the Nintendo servers ever go down and you lose access forever.
@BelflowerShaun@IGN 82% of physical PS5 games are playable from disk without having to download anything. Sure, patches and bug fixes can make it better, but most games are in fact not just disks with a key on it.
@spiralings@Esosamatic@Pirat_Nation Can't speak for anyone else but I bought 115 physical PS5 games. The only games I bought digitally were the ones that didn't get a physical release or had a deep discount.
I'm not mad at Sony, but this just shows me another reason there will be no point in ever investing in a PS6
@JesseCox Here's the dilemma: Netflix cancels anything if it isn't a hit day one. I don't even watch most new shows anymore, because I know it will probably get cancelled on a cliffhanger ending...
@ConstantGTA No, not untill we know if it even runs well on current consoles. Never pre-orders a game that no one has actually seen gameplay of. Remember the launch state of Cyberpunk 2077!
@geoffkeighley I prefer physical media, but we should prepare for the next fight and make our governments start making legislation recognizing the sale of a licence as a real sale so they can't take away our digital games later on whenever they feel like not paying THEIR licence fees anymore.
@Myonsunshine_ This reminds me of the 12 Monkeys escalator scene, and the scene where Bruce Willis sees his younger self... Time travel shenanigans!... Or just coincidence I guess
