The webinar titled “Crisis Ready: Building the Med Student Mindset for Emergencies” organized by NiMSA-ERA in collaboration with EOHealth and LAUMED Journal Club was successfully held on Sunday, August 17, 2025, via Google Meet.
The engaging session highlighted the critical role of medical students in handling emergencies and emphasized the need for composure, quick decision-making, and preparedness during life-threatening situations.
Participants had the opportunity to engage in hands-on sessions, ask questions, and practice life-saving techniques under expert guidance. At the end of the program, participants were awarded Basic First Aid Certificates, signifying their preparedness to respond to emergencies.
The First Aid Training organized by NiMSA ERA and FUTAMSA in collaboration with the Red Cross Society, FUTA Detachment, was successfully held on Wednesday, August 20, at BOC. The training featured practical demonstrations on essential first aid skills including CPR.
