@RevJacquiLewis It means praying, reading, studying and reading, praying, studying more and fasting and taking time to really turn your betrayal/hurt/anger to God. And keep repeating those things until you wake up one day and realize God has replaced your hate with love. Time/Energy required.

I love going to the PAC to learn about what kind of Art students are doing these days. I’m always impressed with the beauty and the quality, no matter how young the artists. It’s a great break from my science classroom. #FDRrocks
This book (and workshop) by Ken O’Connor revolutionized my mindset on grading: “Grades should be based on individual achievement. Effort, participation, attitude, and other behaviors should be reported separately”. #FDRrocks
Student work- iGEM students have labeled a set of tubes to prepare for a huge experiment. They are learning how to do growth curves by counting colonies growing on plates! #FDRrocks#FDRHB_Peru
We have a beautiful campus but I learn the most in my classroom! The students give me energy to learn more about how to reach them. Plus it fosters a constant desire to learn more myself everyday. I also enjoy reading and researching at my desk. #FDRocks
My bookshelf these days is my Kindle. My current read, “Medical Apartheid” has taken me on a shocking journey re: the use of Black Americans for medical experimentation justified by “tenacious beliefs that blacks did not feel pain”. Disturbing but great read. #FDRrocks
