@vasaivirar1 it's 2am and the stray dogs in the area are wrecking havoc. They are continuously barking from all the directions and absolutely disrupting everyone's sleep. Requesting your attention to this issue .

@KonkanRailway this is probably the worst AC (2A) bogie I've ever travelled in . I had to kick the door while getting in since it was jammed . There is one charging point for 4 seats. Not to mentioned dead cockroachs on display.

It's the same thing everyday. Earlier the local trains were crowded but still reliable. Now however they have become extremely unreliable to reach on time . How much does an avg mumbaikar need to suffer everyday??

Nostalgia: went to Matoshree in Mumbai after a long time. Used to be a familiar haunt in the late 80s and early 90s when I was a ‘young’ print journalist in Mumbai. Balasaheb Thackeray and I had a on-off relationship: we didn’t agree on many issues but he was always warm and generous in private and a terrific interviewee who was ready to take all questions, no holds barred . Once when I criticised the Shiv Sena for digging the Wankhede pitch, he was incensed. ‘Won’t speak to you again ,’ he told me. A month later, I got a call. ‘When are you coming to see me, it’s been too long!’. He had a glass of warm beer, I preferred mine chilled and all was well. We knew Balasaheb as this fiery demagogue but he knew how to separate his politics from human relationships, something which today’s public figures could learn from.
