Context: I only work Fridays, so I only see them once a day. And when I came in two shifts ago, they had commented about me reading a book, only for the last shift went down as described.

People at my day job are funny because reading a novel had surprised them. On my shift, I was reading The House of Scorpion, and on my next shift, I had a totally different book, which prompted them to say, "He can't read that," and "there's no way he read it that fast."

"Sky isn't blue" - False. How does this help, and feels like a troll.
"trying too hard." - In what way? (feels like this has potential to be true.)
"try hard word." ...?
"This is better than Stephen King." - Toxic Positivty in the context of the reader didn't even get to page 1.
