Today in 1983, George Brett is called out at Yankee Stadium after an upper deck homer off Goose Gossage when Billy Martin points out he (technically) has too much pine tar on his bat. As you may recall, this did not sit particularly well with George.
Charles Barkley says Michael Jordan shattered his belief that he was the best player in the world
“When I got traded to Phoenix, I told my teammates, ‘I think I’m the best basketball player in the world. We’re going to play the Bulls for the championship. Michael Jordan just has more help. I’m just as good as him.’”
“Then we played the Bulls, and he kicked our ass.”
“I knew he was sending us a message because he thought we’d see them again in the Finals.”
“When we finally got to the NBA Finals, I had my chance to prove my point.”
“That was the first time in my life I said, ‘Damn… that guy’s better at basketball than me.’”
BOMBSHELL 🚨 Investigative journalist Catherine Herridge says she found evidence that Joe Biden’s family was being blackmailed by China (and shows the documents) and our mainstream media ignored the evidence
“What we saw in the release of the records, which I'm afraid I think in the media or legacy media there was kind of a willful blindness. They didn't want to look at the records. All you had to do was spend a couple of hours. I found these records which are talking about blackmail by China. It was for President Biden's daily brief. I can conclude, I think, that it was probably about targeting his family”
She explains earlier that all this was ignored and buried by the FBI, CIA and the media in order to keep Democrats in power
🚨 UPDATE: Residents are furious after 7 grocery stores are CLOSING in Chicago despite MILLIONS of dollars being pumped into them by city Democrats
Socialism fails EVERYWHERE IT IS TRIED.
RESIDENT: "This will become a food desert!"
RESIDENT: "Think about those on fixed income like elderly people...it will be REALLY detrimental!"
Brutal. This is why taxpayer funding grocery stores are a HORRIBLE IDEA
Imagine that: the stores are now seeking private funding.
LMAO 🤣 President Trump just made a very funny joke about Nicki Minaj: “After hearing shots, many people yelled “get down, get down” which caused Nicki Minaj to start twerking

President Trump Just Weighed in on the LeBron James v. Michael Jordan Debate 🤣

An Iowa man bet just over $300 on a loophole he found in a sportsbook's own rules. His bet should have paid out $14 MILLION. The company canceled it and sent his money back instead.
– Nicholas Bavas, a bettor from Iowa, found what he believed was a near-guaranteed exploit in how DraftKings priced certain wagers.
– He placed roughly $300 across bets structured to profit no matter the outcome, if DraftKings' own odds and rules were taken at face value.
– Had DraftKings paid out as the bets were technically written, Bavas stood to collect more than $14 MILLION.
– Instead, DraftKings unilaterally voided the bets and simply refunded his original stake, citing its house rules about pricing errors.
– Bavas sued in a 39-page breach of contract complaint, arguing a bet is a contract, and if DraftKings accepts it, it owes what it promised.
– His attorney said DraftKings gave no real explanation beyond telling him the bet wouldn't be honored.
– The case was moved from Iowa state court into federal court in Des Moines.
– As of the most recent public reporting, the case remains in litigation, with no public ruling yet on whether Bavas is entitled to any of the $14 MILLION.
A $300 bet built entirely around the sportsbook's own rules should have paid him more than most people make in a decade. The company just canceled it and mailed his money back.
