End of a century, it’s nothing special... Curated by @Jam_Wilk alongside @Fifties_Music @Sixties_Music @Seventies_Music @Eighties_Music & @NoughtiesToNow
Cracker - Low (1994)
What a song! This track is around 30 years old now and still absolutely smashes it. We had it good in the 90’s, so much great music!

Saint Etienne's Tiger Bay is 30 years old this week. By a happy coincidence, the James Clarke Hook painting that the cover is based on is on display at @AtkinsonThe in Southport until March 4th.

Not sure why it took me 28 years to hear Daryll-Ann Weeps by the Dutch power pop masters. In ‘95, I nearly wore out my copy of its predecessor, Seaborne West. Safe to say, it’s special.
Thanks to my bro @1RecordEveryday for this original copy of a classic. The stickers make me feel like I’ve just brought it home from Our Price in 1991!
Possum Dixon (US, 1993)

Forgot how good this is until I played it again recently. Full of hooks, eccentric lyrics & crashing pianos.
I discovered them on @CrowleyOnAir’s The Beat before buying the album in Manchester’s @vinylexchange… 30 years ago!
Goodbye Steve Mackey. We had fun with Pulp. They shot some of the video for this in me and Pete's Tufnell Park flat - Jarvis referred to it as "Steve's song" and it's still probably my favourite. https://t.co/NacEl367hS
@decramundo Yes, he really nailed it with this take. He always seems to return to Ragged Glory material. I saw him at Hyde Park a few years back and he opened with three tracks from this album including Country Home!
