It takes A. athleticism, B. technical skill, C. structure, D. resources, and E. your domestic league being a feeder to top 4 leagues.

Reason an African team hasn't won it are part C and D. The reason Mexico hasn't won it is part A and E.

@darrenrovell Only half the world plays it and generally dominated by a singular race of people. It's the equivalent of India bragging about cricket. The best argument to why we would be good in soccer is tennis and golf. Serena and Tiger are top tier athletes regardless of sport.
