ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಘಟನೆಯ ಅಗತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಮನಗೊಂಡು ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ವಿಧ್ಯಾಭ್ಯಾಸ ಮುಗಿಸಿ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ಹೋರಾಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಕ್ರಿಯರಾಗಿದ್��� ಡಾ. ಹೆಡಗೇವಾರ್ ಅವರು 1925ರ ವಿಜಯದಶಮಿ ದಿನ ಸಂಘವನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿದರು. 99ಸಂವತ್ಸರಗಳನ್ನು ಕಂಡ ಸಂಘ ಈ ಪುಣ್ಯ ಪಾವನ ದಸರೆಯ ನಂತರ 100ನೆಯ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆ ಹಾಕುತ್ತಿದೆ.

ಡಾಕ್ಟರಜಿ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿದ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಏಕೈಕ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಎಂದರೆ ಬೆಳಗಾವಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಚಿಕ್ಕೋಡಿ. ಚೆನ್ನೈನ ಪ್ರಚಾರಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ದಾದಾರಾವ್ ಪರಮಾರ್ಥ ಅವರು ಚಿಕ್ಕೋಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಪ್ರಥಮ ಶಾಖೆಯನ್ನು ಆರಂಭ ಮಾಡಿದರು ಮುಂದೆ ಈ ಶಾಖೆಗೆ ಡಾಕ್ಟರಜಿ ಅವರು 16 ಜನವರಿ 1937ರಲ್ಲಿ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿದರು.

Vijaya Shakti Sangama, a Patha Sanchalan was held on Kasargod on 1st February 2015. The Patha Sanchalan started from 4 places & converged at the Vidyanagar Govt. College Ground. About 20,000 swayamsevaks from the Jillaparticipated in the event.
