@RudeOnion 18 is too young why? What age then 38 you said is too old? What's the age where you let them be responsible for themselves? Never? You can always be around for support but people have to learn to fail on their own.
@JoeCassandra There is an archetype that's missing, has it died off? The authoritarian- rigid, demanding, uncompromising. The firm dad is the ideal balance, present, demanding, structured and adaptive.
Generational wealth is not often built staying in one location. Sure if you are the rich parents then yes keep your kids nearby and safe, but that wealth is usually a managed decline. If you need to build wealth you need to do something different. You can stay near home consolidate resources and have a very fulfilling existence. But that's typically what men want at the end of their lives not the beginning
It will get worse before it gets better. Well see how politically active mil/zoom are. Boomers will vote to increase taxes to maintain expected benefits.

@StephenFleming Zero risk tolerance. Low agency. Digital social proxy. Theyre all traits that are learned. Before lack of technological advancement created an environment that taught these lessons, now it must be manufactured. Sounds like you have 2 years left. Good luck.
@TJune81426@SomeRocketGuy01 Were the Chinese just arresting economists who were publicizing Chinas economic stagnation? You're delusional. And you can never pass anyone with theft. Keep up the cheap imitation though, I hear it's the highest form of flattery.
@politicalawake It's so suspicious? No its obvious. Let's pretend it's suspicious though so we can be struck mental limbo as we slide into our brave new world. Working great in UK.
