A lot more people would have had no problem with progressive values under the “live and let live” philosophy.

It may not be fair, but pattern recognition and years of DEI have make gamers very cynical. AAA has bashed gamers and injected stuff into their games for so long that gamers are going to default to assuming the worst.

And they are not wrong.

At this point AAA needs to prove themselves, and this is a situation they have created.
