When I was young, my family was so poor that we didn’t even have paper or a sketchbook.
Every morning, I waited for my mother to tear off the calendar before she left for work,
and I would draw on the back of it.
I mostly drew spaceships.
Years later, I became a manga artist—
and found myself drawing spaceships for Weekly Shonen Jump.
I truly hope that one day,
each and every one of you will achieve your dreams too.✨
Planned to post for the first time in 10,000 years for my birthday only to do it a day late. Very in character. Gonna start posting here again, expect art soon.
Here's literally a story about Typhlosion kidnapping a girl, gaslighting her, and then making her give birth to a half human half Pokemon child
What the-
Artists... make your top layer completely black snd set it to color mode so you can see the values. PLEASE. I used to think that was a lot of work and I can just use my eye but the way I've been able to experiment with color now that I got all the values right is insane
When pursuing an art career, it is inevitable to fall into comparisons. But you only see the tip of the iceberg, the result ⤵️
★ Instead of comparing yourself, take your time to research other art journeys, read interviews and biographies.
★ The hard work and process are not fancy and take time; maybe you are just doing fine, simply you are not there just yet.
★ Other people's goals are not yours; everyone has different needs and priorities.
★ Is it worth sacrificing a huge amount of your time to be on top? Social life? Your health? Maybe yes, maybe not. But take care of yourself.
★ Your real enemy is your anxiety.
★ Spoiler: The journey never ends.
