I always edit as I create a game. There’s 2 kinds of trailers. The one I have limited selection of scenes because it’s still in the middle of development. And the one I can use whole scenes as a complete package to edit with. The latter ones are like Anubis, Rising, Castlevania, DSDC, etc. It’s fun to edit this way.
On the other hand, I find tough to edit a trailer under development. It requires continuous edits/adjustments based on the everyday progress of the game/scenes. Selecting between what I want to show, what we can show, what it can be ready to show. That’s why we cannot outsource to make a trailer.
Thanks to the combined power of the PixelFX PS2 GEM and the RetroTINK 4K (to reach 2160p output) - it's possible to achieve crystal clear, digital true 480p output from a game like Metal Gear Solid 2. No noise, artefacts or issues. Truly exceptional.
