@hot_quik @Wario64 12 percent of what? Selling one additional console is 12 percent of 8 consoles. That type of percentage means nothing. I guarantee all the people who bought PS5s for Stellar Blade already owned PS4s. If that game released on Xbox as an exclusive, it wouldn't have sold Xboxes.

Phil Spencer wasn't wrong when he said they lost the most important generation. The number one factor selling PS5s and Xbox Series X was people buying the console that played the library of games they already owned.

Bad move. You constantly hear certain gamers on the internet talk about how exclusives sell consoles and 10-15 years ago that was indeed the case, but it isn't the case anymore. Existing libraries sell consoles now and nobody wants to switch out of a ecosystem they are already in

According to Jeff Grubb, Gears of War: E-Day will not release on PS5.

Part of this has do with where new gamers are going. Console and even PC gaming isn't the default. New gamers go to their phone typically, since it doesn't involve buying new hardware. So the only people Xbox has to sell Xboxes to are people who already own Playstations or PCs

@ModernVintageG Any live service game releasing in the modern era is going to get some hate and rightfully so tbh. The people who aren't interested in live service aren't going to play it and the people who are interested in live service already have a live service game they are playing.

@maddog301 @NBCNews Under a Medicare for All system, there wouldn't need to be. This would have just been paid for. The fact is, under our system pre ACA, this boy would likely not be able to get insurance at all. The ACA saved this boy's life in more ways than one and should be expanded.
