Two-time state high jump champion JJ Harel has decided to represent Israel in the U20 World Championships before heading to USC for his freshman year. That means he’s likely to represent Israel in the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles. He has passports from USA, Israel and Australia.

Chaminade is getting 13-year-old freshman JJ Harel, who set an AAU Junior record with 6-5 high jump. He also won Javelin and Triple Jump at Junior Olympics and second in Pentathlon.  At Maccabiah Games he was first in U18 high jump and second in U18 triple jump.
