Sharjeel Imam, Hamid Ansari, SY Quraishi - all have the same goal & work in their own little ways to advance towards it from different directions
Rest of India feels it is too gauche to point this out in plain language & they take advantage of this hesitation
No matter where you stand ideologically on the Hindu-Muslim issue, always remember that Muslims rejected a united India when Gandhi and Nehru were leading the Hindus, not when Modi and Shah were at the helm of affairs.
@rumii29 Many westerners do convert to hinduism, without applying force on them . Also there is no reward for converting others in hinduism , and its teaches us to respect other religions. Din bhar bulla bulla karoge to koi to convert hoga na , To bsdk idhar teri ammi mar khuda bkl
@OvertlyStoic Yes . Cuttack has no space left . Sambalpur and berhampur both are congested. Rourkela is the only option. Also Bbsr needs to be expanded in all the directions , like It should be connected completely till khordha , puri and cuttack .
Reasons why BBSR housing market is inflated
-no other option so people moving out of their villages and townhave no option but bbsr to settle
- babus with black money are ready to give 2x the price for flats and lands to park their illegal money
- demand >>> supply
He was in Denmark, and his time at IIT Bombay might have been for an internship or a student exchange. Had he continued on that path, by now he could easily have been a millionaire, living in a multimillion-dollar home somewhere in San Francisco, enjoying the life that so many of us dream of.
But you know what made him leave all of that behind and choose a Master's at JNU? His love for the people. His people. The people of India. His countrymen.
He radicalised himself from a point where no one from the comfort would look back once, not even me!
How Mr Gyanesh Kumar Was Appointed The Chief Election Commissioner?
“He was not even found fit for the Additional Secretary panel. Later he was also found unfit for the Secretary panel.”
In a wide-ranging interview with me for the London Vārta podcast, former Chief Election Commissioner S.Y. Quraishi turns his attention to the man currently under fire from the opposition in India: Gyanesh Kumar, the serving CEC.
So how did he get the job? Mr Quraishi does not mince his words.
He says: “What is known about this gentleman is that he was very close to Amit Shah. Extremely close—he worked under him in the Home Ministry. He was one of the architects of the removal of Article 370 in Kashmir… Besides that, when the Ram Mandir Trust was being formed, he was the one who set it up.”
“According to reports, he was not even found fit for the Additional Secretary panel. Later he was also found unfit for the Secretary panel. But because he had worked so closely with Amit Shah… pressure was applied… and he was made Secretary in the Ministry of Cooperation, of which Amit Shah was the minister.”
On the formal selection process itself: “In 2023, the selection of the Chief Election Commissioner had to be made… under the new Act the government called three people to consider the names. One was Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He nominated Amit Shah—the person closest to him, his companion—and the Leader of the Opposition. And Gyanesh Kumar was selected.”
The full conversation, covering the Election Commission, the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls, and much more, is on the London Vārta podcast.
