₦4 Billion Disbursed. So Why Is Gamboru-Ngala Road Still This Bad?

From Sept 2024 to Dec 2025, over N4bn has been disbursed to the Construction of Gamboru-Ngala Road axis, Borno State.

Yet, on the ground, the road remains in a deplorable state. The only visible intervention has been the dumping of red sand on some sections. An intervention that, according to road users, has further worsened the condition of the road.

During the rainy season, or when a vehicle breaks down, the resulting gridlock can leave travellers stranded for days, sometimes weeks, and on occasion, close to a month, exposing travellers to serious safety risks.

We call on @FMWNIG, and the @BornoGovt to provide the public with details of how the funds disbursed for this project was used and to urgently mobilise the contractor to site.
