Important information for anyone, including @nicksortor, who may be on the ground tonight: a different group is reportedly organizing this evening’s Delany Hall protest activity, one with ties to DSA.
This is organized by Palestine Solidarity Working Group, not Cosecha. These are not the institutionally trained "nonviolent" activists like with the prior protests. These are far-left, revolutionary-minded activists who have foreign terrorism sympathies.
Of course, that it's being organized by extremists wasn't enough to deter other NGOs (we suspect National Lawyers Guild) from offering "jail support" to them. They always stick together.
Pray for the safety of all tonight.
Hello Mr. Joshi,
Let me clarify the origins of the “civilization destroyer” comment which I believe is what you are alleging is a racial slur.
@infantrydort , yesterday asked me if I knew anything about you.
I pulled up your biography, which shows that you’ve been a career NGO foreign policy wonk, starting by interning for the National Democratic Institute in Russia (of all places) and spending the majority of your career in London being a fellow for Royal United Services Institute.
RUSI is the OG foreign policy thinktank, and as a senior fellow there during the Middle Eastern fallout, you’ve been cheering for America’s downfall for years. And if that weren’t enough, your last job before going to the Economist was to work for “Tony Blair Institute for Global Change.” Tony Blair himself - the man the media named as ending the Westphalia age.
If you’ve spent five minutes researching @infantrydort’s page, this IS exactly what he’s been railing against for months. He doesn’t give a poop about your skin color. He’s certainly never treated me any differently based on gender or disability.
He called you a civilization destroyer because you have been working in the circles that have been pushing to end Americanism all your life.
Don’t flatter yourself thinking he’s ever seen a picture of you. The insult was ideological.
I accidentally uncovered one of the funniest secrets in my parents' marriage.
My parents have been married for over 30 years.
Every summer evening, without fail, they'll spend an hour outside together watering plants, pulling weeds, trimming bushes, and fussing over their yard.
The landscaping around their house looks like something out of a magazine.
I've always assumed it was my dad's thing.
A few years ago, I was helping him outside and asked how he got so into gardening.
He laughed.
Dad: Honestly?
Me: Yeah.
Dad: I've never really cared about it.
Me: What?
Dad: Your mom loves it.
Dad: I just like spending time with her.
I remember thinking that was one of the sweetest things I'd ever heard.
Fast forward to this week.
I stopped by while my dad was out of town.
My mom and I were sitting in the kitchen talking when the yard came up.
Mom: You know, I never actually cared much about gardening.
Me: ...what?
Mom: Your dad loves it.
Me: No he doesn't.
Mom: Of course he does.
Me: Mom...
Mom: What?
Me: Dad told me years ago he only does it because he thinks you love it.
She just stared at me.
Then I stared at her.
Mom: You're kidding.
Me: I wish I was.
So we started digging.
Turns out when they first started dating, both of them wanted to seem interesting and outdoorsy.
Dad told her he enjoyed landscaping.
Mom pretended she did too.
Dad saw her enthusiasm and doubled down.
Mom saw his enthusiasm and doubled down.
And somehow neither of them ever admitted the truth.
Thirty years later they're still out there every evening watering flowers neither one of them actually wanted.
Just because each thinks they're doing something nice for the other.
Me: So what are you going to do?
Mom: Nothing.
Me: You're not going to tell him?
Mom: Absolutely not.
Me: Why?
Mom: Because now he'll think I've been lying for 30 years.
Me: You have been.
Mom: Exactly.
I haven't told my brothers.
I haven't told my dad.
Honestly, I don't think I ever will.
At this point it's less of a misunderstanding and more of a renewable energy source powering their entire marriage.
DIG DEEPER: After the clash between @SecScottBessent + @SenRonWyden I ran "Adam Wyden" through the DOJ Epstein Files portal:

We had a great time teaching kids how to fish today at our annual Fishin’ with Grady Judd event!
Kids had the opportunity to learn alongside our deputies while enjoying free food, ice cream, and plenty of fun giveaways. Thanks to everyone who helped make this a reel-y great day 🎣 #PCSO #GradyJudd
@KevOnStage Thank you for calling out MCO! It’s been awful for years, you would THINK they’d be one of the best in the country w/ all that money they get! Where does it go?? Orlando/Osceola is run by leftists. Has been for a long long time. Ask @RepMaxwellFrost 😎😉
@ginamilan_@duffecyjp She needs to hook up w/ the ‘too many people can tip the island over’ dude…. Who I believe is still (inexplicably) serving as a Representative 🤔 I think his name is Hank Johnson
@data_republican yeah, seems pretty typical of California voting tho 🤔 my goodness, could it BE more obvious? Like [they] don’t even care how obvious 🤦♀️
This IS IMPOSSIBLE, and yet, the Senate will not pass the Save America Act.
