@Above96th And where? :)

[Nithya Sowrirajan @NithyaSowri]

@Above96th Any hints on which tree this is?

[Nithya Sowrirajan @NithyaSowri]

@Above96th @BirdCentralPark Where is the waxwing next?!

[Nithya Sowrirajan @NithyaSowri]

@morbeedo @wildbirdfund This is heartbreaking

[Nithya Sowrirajan @NithyaSowri]

@heatherwolf Hi - they are nesting?? I see them in CP but no nests. Would love to see. Where exactly in Pier 2? Thanks in advance.

[Nithya Sowrirajan @NithyaSowri]

@Lucent508 I found them yesterday in the rain on the way to the pool!

[Nithya Sowrirajan @NithyaSowri]

@Lucent508 Any good berry trees you can point to? Waxwings are my favorite!

[Nithya Sowrirajan @NithyaSowri]

For this Baltimore Oriole the rain wasn't enough. It's a shower+bath kind of day. #splash #birdcp

[Nithya Sowrirajan @NithyaSowri]

Finally I can stop the FOMO of others waxwing photos. My staking out paid off. My "spark" birds bathing at the pool. #birdcp #birding #cedarwaxwings

[Nithya Sowrirajan @NithyaSowri]

@BirdCentralPark I saw a couple at the pool today

[Nithya Sowrirajan @NithyaSowri]

Oh and I'm pretty sure that this scarlet tanager has a restraining order on me. I maintain that I kept a very polite distance.

[Nithya Sowrirajan @NithyaSowri]

Turtle pond is everything today. Redstarts, ruby crowned kinglet, magnolia warbler, kingbird pair, common yellow throat, blue headed vireo, house Finch, catbirds, black and white, and of course red winged blackbirds

[Nithya Sowrirajan @NithyaSowri]

@wildbirdfund Oh wow! Just recently saw the Muscovy duck...how did this even get here?

[Calista McRae @stuffedowl]

these birds are tiny and deserve better from us. please treat the glass so @wildbirdfund doesn't have to treat so many cases of head trauma

[Nithya Sowrirajan @NithyaSowri]

Lifer for me...water thrush! Almost missed it given the #ovenbird bonanza. I missed spring fever last weekend in CP but it's still raging. Twohee, common yellow throat, Baltimore oriole, black throated blue, hermit thrush, yellow rumped warbler, flicker... #birdcp

[Nithya Sowrirajan @NithyaSowri]

@Timberdoodle20 Where is the blockhouse?

[Nithya Sowrirajan @NithyaSowri]

Duck bonanza this morning - bufflehead, shovelers, gadwall, coots and duck-masquerading cormorants #birdcp

[Nithya Sowrirajan @NithyaSowri]

79st street just got prettier. Maybe the block association will let me plant a berry tree and attract some #cedarwaxwing
