I don’t understand why boys think a girl with tattoos is a characterless OR bad girl.

I am a Banjara proud girl. I have many tattoos on my body(on hands, chest, arms, legs . for Us tattoos are not fashion. They are part of our culture. We call it “godna”’

In my community almost all Banjara womens and girls have godna. Many Banjara boy's have it too. You will see it on hands, arms, calves, forehead and legs. It is from our grandmothers times.

It shows who we are. It is for beauty and for our pour tradition.

So please don’t see a tattoo and say a girl has no character.

That is totally wrong.
