@KUTV2News A man died after he returned carrying a shotgun into a Riverton convenience store by two armed bystanders, police said.
There. Fixed it for you with your same words but less. If @KUTV2News needs a better, simpler, writer let me know.
I’m attending the @OneUtahSummit and @AbbyPalmerCox said that half of third graders in Utah cannot read or read on a third grade level. I have seen this as a volunteer at my kids school. It’s quite shocking to witness.
@tvheidihatch I tried calling:
Utah Division of Forestry, Fire & State Lands / Interagency Fire Center: (801) 613-3700
My calls keep getting dropped.
@tvheidihatch I pulled over to notify you and @NWSSaltLakeCity that authorities need notified. I tried calling a number that won’t go through. The 4 small unattended wildfires were in various areas in the foothills. I am driving northbound. I saw no trucks or people near them.
@NWSSaltLakeCity I am trying to notify authorities and can’t get through the phone lines. I just saw 4 small unattended wildfires off I-15 btwn exits 146-149 in southern Utah. I’m driving northbound. Fires in the hills. Unattended.
Today I was officially diagnosed with Autism Spectrum disorder. I’m 41 years old and a mom of three. They also reevaluated what I’ve been diagnosed with 20 years ago; ADHD Combined. I’ve also got Reoccurring Depression, and General Anxiety Disorder.
My husband Rhett: Puts on song in his truck as we head to therapy.
Me: “This song makes me sad.”
Rhett: “I love the movie. Amelie.”
Me: “Oh about that Autistic girl?”
There have been a lot of things I suffered in silence about throughout my life. I know God didn’t want me to feel like that any longer and has put me on a new path. Kinda exciting and terrifying to just have the field plowed ready to start paving. #Audhd
@elonmusk I am 41 and just diagnosed as being Autistic. I have what they call Skill Regression due to Autistic Burnout. I can barely drive my kids around due to recent skill regression. This video relaxes my nerves just watching it.
A few weeks ago my neighbor Dawn, her husband was teaching Sunday School for adults. He put a picture up like the one below and said, “This is Mount Sinai. Why did Moses go to this mountain?” My thoughts either come very fast, almost instantly, or it takes me quite some time to put things together.
This particular time, it was instant. I looked at the picture and thought vividly; Well, there are deep crevices all around the mountain. Moses probably went to that mountain because at any time of day the crevices would produce shade in order for Moses or his family to rest. I mean, I’m pretty sure it’s in a desert so that’s probably why he went there. Also it’s kinda flat on top. The flat areas would be perfect for building alters and sacrifices.
And then the teacher called on my other neighbor who answered, “It’s where Moses got the 10 commandments.”
The teacher then replied, “Yes! This is where Moses received the 10 commandments.”
I was glad I didn’t raise my hand. I realized I stopped raising my hand a long time ago. Because the moment someone else answers and got it right, I used to think that oh shoot, I missed the mark. All the time. I still think it. But this time, I had been diagnosed with Autism just a few days prior. And for the first time sitting in Sunday School I knew I was different. And with that, I knew that I wasn’t wrong. Because I had just learned my literal thinking was part of my Autism.
I’m very grateful for having such a wonderful Sunday School teacher, Brother Jennings, who paints wildly vivid stories of life experiences all while teaching facts and stories from the bible.
I feel like I’ve crashed. Hit a wall. Went through the wall. Got tangled in wires. Got untangled. Now lost inside the wall. Repair person patched up the hole because they did their job. Left me in the wall. I’m expected to find my way out. But hey! Those wires got untangled so good job! Meanwhile everyone keeps going about their lives. I can hear the parties on the other side of the wall. But this time not only did I not get the invite, no one was looking for me. #AutisticBurnout #LateDiagnosedAutistic
