Big day for the @UgandaMediaCent team!
We joined forces with the Presidential Press Unit at State House to photograph Uganda’s new cabinet — and the results are exceptional.
Massive congratulations to lead photographer Joel Zimbe, his deputy Sharif Nsimbe, and the incredible Ramlah Kakumba — a 20-year-old intern whose dedication and talent shone throughout.
@AbuMwesigwa and your team, thank you.
Grateful for the PPU’s collaboration and long may we work together.
We build Uganda together!
ONCE AGAIN, I DO NOT HAVE A FACEBOOK ACCOUNT! I AM NOT ON FACEBOOK! I HAVE REPORTED THESE FAKE ACCOUNTS SCAMMING PEOPLE TO THE AUTHORITIES. I AM ON X @Nyinancweende

I pity people who underestimate the power of social media. Let me use my own experience as an example. Perhaps someone will be inspired.
Today, 99% of the clients for @amaj_ta_ghee come from X and other social media platforms.
I also earn creator revenue share every two weeks. What I make in a month can comfortably cover my rent. Take note that I don't post specifically for that income. If I did, I would probably be earning much more.
My digital consultancy firm, N&L Digital Consultancy, is already attracting clients, and it's obvious that most of them are coming through social media.
I occasionally get influencing gigs depending on the campaign or cause being promoted. I only work on initiatives that create a positive impact in society. If I chose to be an all round commercial influencer, I would likely earn even more.
I also receive public speaking gigs as an MC and moderator, and about 60% of those gigs come through social media connections.
I will soon be resuming my podcasts on Nova Talk Television, and I believe this platform will allow me to earn while continuing to impact communities positively.
If all goes well and I remain consistent, I have no doubt that I will build a major brand and generate significant income through social media.
You can do the same and even better. Sometimes, it's not social media holding people back, No, it's their perception of it.
Social media is a tool. How you use it determines what it becomes for you. 🙌
But today has refused 😔 too much sorrow on the timeline. How do you kill someone’s son over hearsay… over a bag? Uganda is becoming too comfortable with violence and it’s terrifying 🚮
