The daughter of Cameroon's head of state strongly hopes that her coming out as a lesbian can help change the law banning same-sex relations in her country and Africa at large. Brenda Biya says there are many people in her situation in Cameroon who are 🌈 and she hopes to inspire them.

The 27-year-old recently shared an image of her kissing her girlfriend, sparking mixed reactions across Cameroon. Where same-sex relations are against the law and are punishable by up to five years in prison.
